We hope to not be in these circumstances very often, but his team's made of the right stuff."The game was Ben Johnson's first in charge of the Bears, who led thanks to a rushing touchdown from Caleb Williams and a Nashon Wright touchdown from a 74-yard interception. After the Vikings' late rally, Williams threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Rome Odunze with two minutes remaining. To play this video you need to enable JavaScript in your browser. This video can not be playedMedia caption, JJ McCarthy celebrates after winning on his NFL debut.Related topicsAmerican FootballMore on this storyAllen shines as Bills stun Ravens in wild comebackPublished6 days agoRodgers' revenge on Steelers debutPublished6 days agoHopkins & Henry star in NFL plays of the weekPublished6 days agoAllen 'proud' of Bills' thrilling comebackPublished6 days agoComments can not be loadedTo load Comments you need to enable JavaScript in your browserCommentsJoin the conversationThese comments are now closed.108 commentsShowLatestOldestHighest RatedMost RepliedMComment by Mightymojo at 10:07 9 SepMightymojo10:07 9 SepThe most Chicago Bears of endings to a match, and starts to a season.Reply270Show comment linksCComment by Chris L at 10:15 9 SepChris L10:15 9 Septo Mightymojo"The most Chicago Bears of endings to a match, and starts to a season."The Spurs of the NFL ?Reply122Show comment linksMore replies (3)SComment by SFC_fan at 09:03 9 SepSFC_fan09:03 9 SepAs a Vikings fan the first 3 quarters were a tough watch. The game itself is a series of set pieces, that lends itself to taking ad breaks between plays. It was the guy's FIRST ever pro NFL game, and what a surprise (well, to you apparently), he found it a struggle at first, as pro players aren't the same as those in college games. As you claim to be an NFL fan, you should be aware that the problems Bears had in the 2nd half (couldn't score or even move the ball until the final too-late drive) were NOTHING to do with QB of Vikings!Reply70Show comment linksMore replies (3)EComment by Ephyzephy at 15:56 9 SepEphyzephy15:56 9 SepSorry to come across all "Grammar Police", but you do realise you can put more than one sentence in a paragraph?
